From Intermediate to Higher
To take your Latin and Greek further after Intermediate Level, you might like to have a look at these additional text books. These texts would be an ideal starting point to help students gain valuable reading experience and bridge the gap between Intermediate 2 and the Higher level groups at the JACT Durham Greek & Latin Summer School. You absolutely don't need to bring any of these additional books with you to the Summer School, but they are well worth getting hold of if you can, as they are ideal for developing your language skills and consolidating key material.

Higher & Advanced Groups
For the Higher and Advanced Latin and Greek groups at the JACT Durham Greek & Latin Summer School, tutors prepare texts and running vocabularies that target the different needs of students. At Higher, this means a vocabulary list of words that are likely to be unfamiliar to A level students. At Advanced, this means an introduction to the texts in their contexts and vocabulary support for unusual or especially difficult words and phrases. These will be circulated as PDFs to students on these courses ahead of the summer school, as well as as hardcopies during the week.
