Core Texts for Beginner's & Post-Beginner's Latin & Greek

For the Beginner's and Post-Beginner's Latin & Greek groups at the JACT Durham Greek & Latin Summer School, we use the Latin to GCSE Book 1, (Cullen & Taylor), & Greek to GCSE Book 1, (Taylor), as our core texts. Tutors will plan your work around these workbooks, but they will also use other resources to complement the exercises in the core texts, so there will be plenty of variation in what you study over the week! In the weeks leading up to the Summer School, your tutor will get in touch with you to give you more information about what you'll be covering. We recommend that you bring your own copy of the text book to Durham with you.
Core Texts for Intermediate Latin & Greek

For the Intermediate Latin & Greek groups at the JACT Durham Greek & Latin Summer School, we use the Latin to GCSE Book 2, (Cullen & Taylor), & Greek to GCSE Book 2, (Taylor), as our core texts. Tutors will plan your work around these workbooks, but they will also use other resources to complement the exercises in the core texts, so there will be plenty of variation in what you study over the week! In the weeks leading up to the Summer School, your tutor will get in touch with you to give you more information about what you'll be covering.
